Preston Cast and Kallen Easterday both represented Amherst well yesterday at the Nebraska State Junior High Championship in Gothenburg. Kallen finished 8th and Preston finished 9th in the 200 hurdles.
Kallen also finished 5th in the 100 hurdles and had a personal best time of 14.64, before having to run his finals race into the wind. Kallen was able to get on the medal stand in both races in this very prestigious meet!
Congratulations to both boys!
